WebToolChest is designed around local browser tools. The goal is simple: give you useful website and productivity tools without requiring accounts, uploads, or unnecessary data collection.
Most WebToolChest tools process your files, text, signatures, checks, and other inputs locally in your browser. Unless a tool clearly says otherwise, your working files are not uploaded to a WebToolChest server.
You are responsible for deciding what files and information you choose to open in your browser while using the tools.
WebToolChest may use your browser's local storage to remember settings, tool preferences, Cygnus Connect unlock status, profile fields, skins, and similar convenience data.
This information lives in your browser. If you clear browser data, use a privacy cleaner, switch devices, or reset your browser, that stored information may be removed.
Payments, license delivery, and receipts may be handled by third-party services such as Gumroad. WebToolChest does not directly collect or store your full payment card details.
